• Bing on Skype – Chat with the new Bing in one-on-one and group chats to get AI-powered answers, directly in the context of your conversations. Request recommendations to help you make plans together, and get inspired and have fun asking Bing for ideas.

• Share – send photos and videos to family and friends. Save shared photos and videos to camera images. Share your screen to plan trips with friends or present designs to your team.

• Voice calls – are you camera shy? Make voice calls to anyone in the world via Skype. You can also call cell phones and landlines at affordable rates.

• Express – Liven up conversations with emojis, GIFs, stickers, images from your device or the web.

• SMS - Use Skype to send SMS messages to cell phones around the world.

Access Permissions:

All permissions are optional and require consent (you can continue using Skype without granting these permissions, but certain features may not be available).

• Contacts: Skype can sync and upload contacts from your device to Microsoft servers so you can easily find and connect with your contacts who already use Skype.

• Microphone: The microphone is necessary for people to hear you during audio or video calls or for you to record audio messages.

• Camera: The camera is needed so people can see you during video calls or so you can take photos or videos while using Skype.

• Location: You can share your location with other users or use your location to help find relevant places near you.

• External Storage: Storage is necessary to be able to store photos or share your photos with others you can chat with.

• Notifications: Notifications let users know when messages or calls are received, even when Skype is not actively used.

• Read Phone Status: Accessing the phone status allows you to place a call on hold when a regular phone call is in progress.

• System Alert Window: This setting enables Skype screen sharing, which requires access to all information on the screen or playing back on the device while you record or stream content.
